The Opportunity

Do you want to shape the future Airframe of Airbus? Then join our Airframe Research & Technology (R&T) team in Hamburg.

We are working in several projects for airframe for the long-term objective of Airbus of a zero-emission flight. To achieve this goal, you will work on projects developing the hydrogen tank and distribution for aviation.

Our objective is the technology leadership for airframe based on a wide Engineering knowledge and experience in developing innovative solutions and working in a dynamic agile way in multidisciplinary and transnational teams.

Tasks & Accountabilities

As part of a highly motivated Airbus team you will be responsible for performing the design work in the frame of a technology development project. You will perform detail design work for the development of the technology bricks.

The design work for the definition dossier of test articles for engineering and manufacturing trials will be your main activity. This will require a very close work with the manufacturing and industrial experts. In addition you will perform design trades to support the development of the needed design principles.

New design tools and methods are used.

All the expected tasks require a high level of innovation spirit, flexibility in the way of thinking and an open mind set.

This role can involve regular travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Educated to a 5 years’ degree in Engineering,
• Experience in CATIA V5 or 3DX beneficial,
• Knowledge in mechanical system installation beneficial
• Open minded spirit and Problem solving oriented mindset,
• Team spirit and strong communication skills is a must,
• English at negotiation level.
