We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our M&A department as a Working Student. As part of our automotive supplier company, you will play a crucial role in supporting our transformation efforts by focusing on investments in new business areas such as mobility, smart health, and utility. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of mergers and acquisitions while contributing to our company’s growth and expansion.
Your Tasks:
- Conduct Market Research: Assist in conducting comprehensive market research to identify potential investment opportunities in new business areas, including mobility, smart health, and utility. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to support investment decision-making.
- Due Diligence Support: Support the M&A team in conducting due diligence on potential investment targets. This involves analyzing financial statements, conducting industry research, and preparing investment memos.
- Financial Modeling: Assist in building and maintaining financial models to evaluate investment opportunities. This includes analyzing financial statements, performing valuation analysis, and assessing investment risks and returns.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Support the M&A team in monitoring the performance of portfolio companies. This includes analyzing financial reports, tracking key performance indicators, and preparing performance updates for internal stakeholders.
- PMI and Value Creation: Support the M&A team in post-merger integration and value creation for existing portfolio companies.
- Presentation Preparation: Assist in preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investment committee meetings, investor updates, and industry conferences. This involves gathering relevant data, creating visualizations, and ensuring the accuracy and clarity of the content.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the M&A team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and maintaining databases.
Your Profile:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and investment analysis.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and emerging business areas (mobility, smart health, utility) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
