Position overview
Are you a student looking for an exciting opportunity to kick start your career in a global leading company? We are looking for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team. The Procurement intern or working student will be a part of our team, working to provide assistance and support in the day-to day tasks to our direct and indirect procurement teams as well as gain valuable insights and understanding of the full procurement cycle.
Temporary position: until mid of November 2023 (with potential of extension).
Responsibilities
- Support direct and indirect procurement teams with different administrative activities (vendor creation in system, data analysis, maintenance of data spreadsheets, approval processes)
- Assist in organizing team events and management meetings
- Preparation of procurement related documentation
- Correspondence with internal and external parties
- Participate in material sourcing process as Junior Buyer
- Close collaboration and support for Managers within raw Material & technical procurement and with optimization processes
Required skills and experience
- Currently working on a degree in the Finance, Business or any related field to the chemical industry
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills, particularly Excel and PPT (SAP knowledge would be a plus)
- Ability to work in teams comprised of production and maintenance personnel
- Organized, proactive and accurate
- Fluent English and German skills

- Gross hourly wage (according to collective agreement) in the amount of EUR 17.28
