About the job
Our Team:
MSAT (Manufacturing Science, Analytics and Technology) Microbial & Injectables Drug Product Technology Transfer and Life Cycle Management Support Insulins is responsible for the transfer of products, processes & analytics. The Project Manager ensures that projects are implemented on time and within budget, and that the content of projects is coordinated with all expert groups.
Main responsibilities:
  • Lead of internal or external product transfers or technology projects considering all GMP aspects and always ensuring compliance with requested quality
  • Collaborate with all functional representatives (production, regulatory, QC, QA, technic etc.) to set up a project plan which ensures achievement of all milestones requested by corresponding customers (external companies)
  • Capturing, tracking and communication of project timelines costs, resources and risks in order to provide full visibility of all project related topics.
  • Regular reporting of project progression also in a global business environment
  • Careful management of risks linked to defined projects during development, after launch and commercialization, as well as development of innovative problem-solving strategies
  • Full understanding of project related scientific backgrounds, strategic decisions and project correlations
  • Collaborate effectively with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization to positively impact business results
  • Embrace change and innovation and initiate new and improved ways of working
  • Take responsibility for developing one’s self and others in anticipation of future business needs
About you
Education and professional Experience
  • Advanced Degree in natural sciences (PhD, MSc/Engineer) like pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry in relevant position (production, QC, QA, regulatory, technic etc.)
  • Experience and successful Transfer-Out Projects
  • 5+ years managing and leading teams
  • 5+ years of experience managing budget, resources, interfacing with Human Resources and Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in representing the position / function at senior management meetings
  • High level of understanding of R&D and IA project challenges, critical path activities and bottlenecks that prevent progression
Soft skills
  • Very high level of communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence
  • Capability to engage people, lead change management and therefore motivate employees
  • Leadership skills in a project and matrix environment. Skills to influence an international matrix organization
  • Proven ability to anticipate, identify, define and solve problems of high complexity and crisis’
  • Proven ability to lead, providing vision and fostering collaboration across units and functions within the company
Technical skills
  • Excellent knowledge in the use and application of excel, (SAP, Shine etc.)
  • Good knowledge in MS project and other project management tools
  • Proven ability to make internal and external presentations representing the company
Languages
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills in English
  • Very good written, oral communication and presentation skills in German
