Test Engineer (m/f/d)in full or part time (Ref.Nr. R0137821)
For our activities in the field of space at our headquarters in Ditzingen near Stuttgart
You will enjoy having this responsibility:
We are currently looking for a Test Engineer with a strong hands-on mentality to join the Galileo Project team within Thales Alenia Space Deutschland. The Test Engineer will be part of the team that is responsible to prove the qualification status of the Galileo Ground Mission Segment (GMS) towards the customer.
It also involves the following tasks:
Generation of test procedures that fulfil the customer requirements
Execution of tests witnessed by end customer
Support the preparation of test reviews with the customer
Identification and investigation of system anomalies
Installation and configuration of software and hardware.
You have:
University degree in an IT/Engineering subject or equivalent scientific title.
Proven experience in large system testing activities
Network expertise for configuration, architecture and analysis in a Linux environment. TCP/IP based protocols, firewall and switch configuration and management.
Knowledge in script development (Bash, Python or similar)
Experience in virtualisation environments, automation and cyber-security is a plus.
Fluent in English language (spoken and written) and German (spoken and written)
Ability to travel within Europe
