Job description

As a Technical Marketing Engineer specialist, you will be part of a strongly growing team addressing the company’s strategy on Car Electrification & Traditional Applications. Your responsibility will be in the scope of technical marketing and design-in activities, business development and promotion. You will interact with internal and external customers & partners, in direct dialog with decision makers in Product Divisions.

The key roles will be to
1. contribute to the definition, planning and execution of the strategy & product roadmaps for the strong growing segment of Electrification & Traditional products and applications, which are defined as key growth driver for future ST business.
2. pro-actively promote and design-in products at Automotive customers with the objective to maximize the Design Win in the given area. It is expected to closely cooperate with the Sales / FAE / Application & System and Divisional teams, thus regular travelling to customers and Divisions is necessary.
3. collect and consolidate major trends, requirements for Battery Management Systems and Motor Control, incl. new packaging concepts and then translate those into new product requests.
4. In alignment with Marketing and Sales Organizations defines and drives the MARCOM activities for the assigned products

The candidate shall have a technical background in Semiconductor devices and Electrification Applications in Automotive.

Quality and reliability experience to introduce new components in Automotive is beneficial.
This job requires highly motivated candidates with good agility, engagement and strong communication skills.

Profile

  • Required education level: Electrical Engineering degree with focus in semiconductors
  • Minimum 5 - 10 Years of work experience
  • Desired competencies are
  • Fluency in English required, ideally German as well, optional French/Italian
  • Automotive background in Electrification and Market Knowledge
  • Power Electronics & Analog Electronics
  • Knowledge on Quality and reliability requirements in Automotive
  • Strong informal and formal communication and presentation skills
  • A passion for solving hard problems that translate into meaningful business results
