Job Overview

• Develop and implement CO2-Accounting with its various elements within the broader sustainability strategy
• Implement internal CO2 price, tracking and controlling of CO2 calculations within the AUT BU and overall CO2/cost of sustainability initiatives
• Develop strategy for complying to CO2 reduction path and carbon removal program
• Implement digital tools and automatization of CO2-accounting structure and other related digitalization projects
• Consult management through analysis, assessment, and proposals for specific departmental needs under considerations of governmental and political requirements (i.e., CSRD, EU taxonomy) and conduct regular sustainability reviews.
• Preparation, coordination, and implementation of CO2-reporting based on recognized standards for product and project level and toward CBAM, EFRAG and other governmental regional requirements
• Lead Assurance / Verification initiatives on site, project, and process level
• Project management of various sustainability projects in liaison with other functions (Supply Chain/Procurement, Engineering, etc.)
• Preparation of targeted presentations of results and recommendations for actions on various management levels
• Ambassador Sustainability, inspire peers and create overall awareness of the subject and how to make it part of everyday live, inspire them and make them more present in everyday life

What your background should look like:

• Completed university degree preferably with a sustainability / technical / economic / scientific diploma or a similar degree with a focus on CO2 accounting and management
• Previous team management experience of 5 plus years
• Innovative, agile, and independent work style, together with pragmatic thinking and acting
• Strong analytical and strategical skills paired with digital competency
• Team player and excellent communication skills, combined with strong project-oriented collaboration and intercultural competency
• Knowledge and experience of GHG Protocols, ISO 46064-7 and others
• SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Excel and PowerPoint and other knowledge is of advantage
• Very good knowledge of English and German
