Strategic Projects Manager
Reporting to the Strategic Project Manager in the UK, in this role you will be supporting the development of business cases for cross business strategically important projects, preparing project approval documentation, supporting both communication, and detailed project transition planning. You will programme manage the implementation of multiple sub-projects projects and the associated financials, providing clear and timely status reports and you will provide focused Project Management Materials Management support in strategic projects (e.g. product line transfers, site closures etc.) across EMEA.
Your key deliverables:
- Current state mapping and future state development (scenario planning)
- Business case development (including securing project / funding approvals)
- Professional project / program management utilising Eaton’s Standard Transition Process
- Lead problem solving and root cause analysis activities
- Provide Project Management Materials and Planning support in strategic projects (e.g. product line transfers, site closures etc.)
- Develop and execute aligned communications plans for all key stakeholders and approval bodies
- Budget planning / management and business metric reporting
- Advanced quality planning and contingency planning
- Application of Organisational Change Management techniques
- Establish processes, tools where needed and support in the transitions of roles & responsibilities (specifically Materials Planning)
- Prepare and/or approve Materials Planning Project documentation, support both communication & detailed Project transition
- Ensure high quality documentation and ramp up / down plans are in place (both internally and with the associated supply base)
- Track and Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (focus on Material Management plans)
- Educated at Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution?
- Coming with 5 years proven track record working in a Manufacturing / Supply Chain Management function?
- Possessing extensive knowledge of Electrical Sector products, manufacturing processes, quality processes and procedures?
- Experienced with Make or Buy, insourcing / outsourcing and BCC?
- Able to manage change and lead cross business projects?
- Able to understand engineering drawings and specifications?
- Having Project management experience?
- Coming with excellent IT application & data management skills?
- Advanced in material planning processes & Systems, including SAP?
- An individual with personal flexibility and initiative to support achievement of deadlines?
- Strong Analytical, Planning and Organizational Skills profile?
- Possessing strong influencing skills and ability to communicate effectively at senior level?
- An empathic person, with demonstration of managerial courage?
- Ready to travel up to 25% travel of the working time?
- Fluent in English language?
