There’s only one fact: There are a lot of cloud-providers and cloud-services, but there’s only one STACKIT and only one Yaook! You don’t know both yet? Here it is: STACKIT is the simple and furthermore the secure cloud alternative in Europe with the full backing and resources of the Schwarz Group. And Yaook is more than a crazy name: it’s our containerbased OpenStack Lifecycle Management!

What You’ll Do

One-off projects like Yaook require the involvement of true cloud enthusiasts. You could look forward to the following:

  • You work on the advancement of a lifecycle management system for OpenStack based on Kubernetes
  • You support the automation and improvement of the entire stack: from network-based installation through to REST APIs
  • You work in close collaboration with the Yaook community and the partners
  • You integrate improvements upstream of used open source components
  • You also support operations and ensure the high availability of our data centers


What You’ll Need

Some opportunities only come along once in a lifetime. We are building a completely automated OpenStack Lifecycle Management system as an independent open source solution based on Kubernetes:

  • We need your support and your know-how in orchestration and container technologies
  • As a true cloud enthusiast, you are passionate about and committed to making an essential contribution to a simple, secure, and stable cloud hosted in Germany
