Your mission

Hey there and welcome to your new Opportunity with Sungrow European Research Institute.
We are looking for an accomplished and highly self-motivated Senior UI Designer to join our team dedicated to shaping the user experience for our cutting-edge applications in the renewables energy sector. As a senior member of our design team you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces that empower our users to harness the power of clean energy solutions. Your most essential tasks are:

• Lead and drive the UI design process, creating exceptional user interfaces for web and mobile applications that align with industry best practices and user-centered design principles.
• Work independently on design projects, taking ownership of your work from concept to final implementation, while meeting project timelines and objectives.
• Advocate for the end user, conducting user research, usability testing ,and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
• Create visually stunning and cohesive designs that effectively communicate complex data and concepts related to renewable energy systems and technologies.
• Develop interactive prototypes to showcase and validate design concepts, ensuring seamless usability and functionality.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to align design strategies with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Produce comprehensive design documentation, style guides, and design specifications to guide development teams during implementation.
• Professionally present and defend design concepts and decisions to internal teams and stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed.

Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it’s all about electrical equipment, that’s why it is essential for you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven track record as a UI Designer with at least 5 Years of experience in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Exceptional proficiency in UI design tools such as Figma, AdobeXD, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including applications in the technology or renewable energy sector.
• Experience with Saas, Enterprise and/or B2B Platforms,
• In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate and defend design decisions.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies and their impact on design is a plus.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability is highly desirable.
• English at C1 level or above, Chinese is a plus.
