As a Senior Solution Architect at Luxoft’s Connected Mobility Practice, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and grow business in the connected vehicle domain. The Automotive Connected Mobility Practice includes the center of competences for Advanced Diagnostics, Telematics, Connected Vehicle Platforms, Connected Vehicle Application Solutions and Automotive Edge / IoT Solutions. Topics like OTA and cyber security find their home in the Connected Mobility Practice. The fields of focus will include vehicle software, edge computing and digital connected vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of global businesses, and be deeply familiar with complex, legacy end-to-end connected vehicle environments. Furthermore, having an understanding of the broad automotive ecosystem.

    You would be expected to have deep expertise in the domain-specific automotive technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are integrated.

    As key member of the Connected Mobility core team, your broad responsibilities will include:

    Owning the technical engagement with the customer and helping them to reach the ultimate success around specific initiatives.
    Furthermore, you will provide thought leadership via publications and the active support of our R&D efforts.
    Serve as a key member of the Technology Office team, ensuring customer success in building applications and services.
    Engage with prospects and customers in the automotive industry, helping to shape their mobility/connected vehicle strategy and working to become the customer’s trusted advisor and solution partner on this topic.
    Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for our customers.
    Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community as well as with the automotive industry.
    Understand the automotive market segments and customer base and help to position & define Luxofts’ mobility solutions with the needs of this industry in mind.
    Domestic and partially international travel up to 30%.

Skills

Must have

    Technical degree required; Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Maths background highly desired
    Strong Automotive know how
    Several years of experience in the automotive industry or having consulted customers in the industry
    A highly technical and analytical mindset, to understand the complexities of large automotive environments
    Hands on in-vehicle architecture & software experience
    Consultative and leadership skills
    Experience in launching projects on a trajectory to success
    Familiar with modern agile concepts
    Good understanding of application as well as complex system architectures
    Ability to go deep on technical aspects to understand current and future customer needs and present Luxoft’s solutions benefits
    Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations in a global and multicultural environment

Nice to have

    Enjoy working with a wide array of technologies from cloud to embedded systems
    Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired
    Understanding of IoT architectures, services and technologies
    Experience with architecting and implementing Connected Vehicle solutions
