(Senior) Software Engineer (m/f/x)

Our team maintains and develops an internal platform based on Kubernetes that allows New Work’s engineers to deploy, run and observe their applications. We build Kubernetes controllers and operators, develop in-house CLI tools and write a lot of documentation to provide our customers – the engineers - with the best experience of software development.

We are looking for a software engineer in Hamburg to join us in these endeavors.
A challenging task

Implement robust, scalable and highly optimized infrastructure components.

Improve and maintain existing application code.

Review and optimize our software and system architecture.

Evaluate and recommend new technology to improve the existing ecosystem.

Take ownership of a platform that improves daily lives of several hundreds of developers.

A convincing background

You are experienced with Docker and Kubernetes.

You are an expert in one of the following programming languages: Go, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Elixir.

You have experience in web application architecture (scalability, availability, APIs).

You are passionate about solving challenging problems.

You enjoy sharing knowledge and are good at writing developer-oriented documentation.

You are able to communicate well in English.
