Have you already some experience with liquid coating? You really like to help clients and you’re good in creating long-term relationships – if the answer is yes, we really think you could be a great asset for our Sales team in Germany!
We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Representative (M/F/D), who will manage key Powder Customers based in West Germany with the aim to achieve targeted sales objectives and profits, as well as to develop profitable business with new and existing Customers.
The Person Will Provide High Level Professional Assistance On Complex Accounts, Support Customers’ Needs, And Address Customer’s Requests To The Proper Function/office Withing The Internal Organization And Will Be In Charge Of The Following Activities
- Develops contacts and relationships with new and existing Customers to sell products, introduce new or alternative product lines, and grow sales in alignment with the Sr. Sales Director. Manages the growth and maintenance of sales by ensuring the effective allocation of sales for potential new and existing Customers.
- Researches, analyses, and reports on industry trends and data that impact business’ volume, margins, utilization, and market share.
- Manages the development of Customers by profiling and targeting market segments, attending industry and trade shows, and networking within the industry and business.
- Manages the execution of multiple sales and related business strategies by streamlining programs, overseeing implementation, and coordinating activities.
- Develops and delivers business plans for specific market opportunities.
- Critically reviews progress against plan to continuously assess commercial potential, adjusting as necessary in order to assure optimal profitability.
- Identifies and develops potential internal and external strategic partners in development of business opportunities.
- Collects and analyses market and/or Customers validation data that can support decisions regarding specific opportunities or ventures. Applies a working understanding of product lines and application methods and ensures customer satisfaction.
- Develop the regional pricing strategy, and within the organization drive adherence to that strategy. Ensure price architecture is robust for the multiple channels of distribution for the business line and remains current with market fluctuations.
- Support the achievement of sales’ objectives serving as cross-functionally partner with Sherwin-Williams organization – i.e. Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Technical, Operations and Research & Development.
- Drive consistent metrics and processes for margin improvement. Proactively analyse pricing impact and P&L deviation.
- Provides input to R&D function to prioritize product development, and define strategic market analysis regarding product line development, costing and pricing.
- Diploma or higher education degree preferably in Business Management, Chemistry, Engineering or Paint Technology
- Commercial and technical experience (at least 5 years) in Powder Coatings preferable within the General Industrial area
- Ability to develop a sales region further based on an existing account structure
- Organizational skills to properly and effectively address/escalate issues to achieve results.
- Comfortable to operate within a multi-national, multi-cultural, matrixes and fast-growing organization.
- Ability to communicate assertively, effectively, and credibly at all levels.
- Ability to set priorities and perform under stress, with a hands-on mindset and can-do attitude.
- Strong attention to details and accuracy when creating, reviewing, and analysing a variety of data and information for the business.
- Good English level and fluent in German
- First Experiences in Liquid Coatings will be an advantage
