  • Identify program manager and support timely assembly of the SDT for all new programs in liaison with functional managers. Decide program priorities when there are staff shortages.2. Coach and motivate program managers to ensure ownership of and responsibility for their programs.3. Ensure the program manager leads a program matching his experience and ability.4. Develop and follow-up individual development plans for their program managers and support the Director of Program Management Europe in providing systems, tools, training and strategic planning for program management.5. Review periodically program deliverables (e.g. timeline, SOW, Issues List) with the PM to ensure realistic planning and help review risks.6. Participate in Program Management Steering Committee meetings and Review PRP improvements with DPME (based on “lessons learned” from running programs).7. Trouble-shoot on difficult program problems.8. Ensure full compliance with BOS across all programs.9. Review business plans with senior management & identify program management needs (incl. BU Advance SDT planning).10. Schedule Program Reviews and Phase Exit Reviews on a regular basis and ensure participation by relevant stakeholders.11. Responsible to execute the assigned Complex and/or Global Program within the approved budget, expected time and quality.Education and Work Experience requirements:- Degree or equivalent in an engineering or business discipline and compensating training in the other area- Program management certification preferred- At least 5-7 years experience in manufacturing industry in three SDT areas- At least 5 years experience in project management, of which at least 3 years are in the automotive industry- Participation in 1 new product start-ups- Customer and Supplier relationship management
