The backend segment sensors, chip card, development and backend operations at site Regensburg enable the development of comprehensive innovations across the entire value chain: starting with chip manufacturing to wafer testing, preassembly, package development and the development of new materials. The manufacturing sites within SCCM in Regensburg, Wuxi (China) and Melaka (Malaysia) are committed to Operational Excellence with strong customer focus.

In your new role you will:

• Lead 3 direct reports and 30 indirect reports at Infineon BE (backend) sites
• Define, develop and implement the SCCM Quality Framework and Zero Defect Quality programsacross all sites (Regensburg, Wuxi and Melaka) and respective subcontractors within the Segment SCCM (Sensors, ChipCard, Moulded Modules)
• Represent the segment SCCM towards Infineon customers in all quality matters as well as internal division partners and other organizations
• Take a leadership role during quality crisis situations to ensure their resolution and that customer requirements are met
• Drive and align continuous strategic quality programsand help the organization to become a quality leader
• Setup suitable interfaces within the Segment and Subcontractor sites as well as to the respective organizations within Infineon and suppliers to ensure appropriate communication and cooperation in order to make the next big step in quality performance
• Foster people development and strategic talent management for SCCM Quality Management to build a high performance team and ensure a well filled talent pipeline
• Lead the organization by defining overall quality target and monitoring within the segment SCCM for all related indices
  
  

You are committed to creating added value for the customer and put him at the heart of your thoughts and actions. You also have a proven track record of inspiring your team, managers & stakeholders and encourage them for the common goal.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• An advanced university degree in technical or natural sciences, such as chemistry, electrical engineering, microelectronics, microsystem technology, physics
• 7 or more years working experience in a management position including leading of managers, ideally within the semiconductor industry
• A proven track record of successfully leading and developing large teams in a manufacturingenvironment, ideally covering technology and quality management
• A pragmatic, collaborative and inspirational leadership style
• Demonstrated passion and skills to manage diverse global teams in a matrix organizationand a constantdrive for quality excellence on automotive level
• Professional knowledge of quality systems, methods, procedures and problem solving tools such as 8D methodology, 5 Why, FTA(Fault Tree Analysis), Fishbone (Ishikawa), FMEA, risk assessment, DMAIC/6s
• Excellent communication and moderation skills in German and English
• The willingness to travelinternationally
