In 19 cities around the world, our legion of employees communicates in 50 different languages and dialects and buys and sells components 24 hours per day, with global sales in excess of $12 billion over the last five years. We’re always moving; helping manufacturers navigate market shifts, customizing supply chain solutions, testing components using cutting-edge technology, and more.
As a Senior Account Representative, you will:
- Conduct market research and identify high-potential customers, engaging in proactive prospecting to showcase Smith’s comprehensive value proposition tailored to the semiconductor industry.
- Lead and manage a high-value portfolio of multinational accounts, fostering strong relationships and driving strategic growth for the company with strong support from Key Account Coordinator team
- Be highly involved in complex projects such as VMI, ITAD, cost saving programs
- Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, marketing, and finance teams, to ensure seamless execution of global projects and align efforts across the organization
- Sharpen your negotiation skills to secure favorable deals, stay abreast of market trends to ensure competitive pricing
- Assess customer requirements with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring alignment with Smith’s offerings and propelling successful sales outcomes
- Share expertise and experience to foster the growth of junior sales representatives to build your own trading group.
You possess the following attributes to excel in this role:
- Have at least 5 years of Sales working experience in B2B
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, effectively conveying Smith’s message and influencing customer decision-making.
- Have a great ability of forecasting the market in an ever-volving market
- Capable of managing a high-volume workload efficiently and effectively, maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, confidentiality, and data protection.
- Expertise in the semiconductor industry leverages industry understanding to identify and address customer needs with tailored solutions, demonstrating your ability to navigate the complexities of the semiconductor domain and drive sales growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in sales principles and practices within the semiconductor industry.
- Fluent in English and at least one other European language, ensuring seamless communication across diverse customer segments
