You want to have a lasting impact on the art market and be part of an amazing digital experience for accessing art data? Look no further!

We are looking for our first (and highly motivated) Sales Manager (m/f/x) to help us ramp up the growth of our company. Our solution allows artists, estates and other organizations to unlock the value of artwork-centric information that are today hidden away in analogue or inaccessible locations. Sales at Navigating Art is highly consultative, so you either are — or will quickly become — knowledgeable in the field of artwork-centric information.

Tasks

What you’ll do:
  • Execute enterprise sales methodology and run the sales process entirely from qualification to close
  • Prove your sales expertise by generating new B2B leads via various acquisition channels, including proactively reaching out to artists, estates and other organizations via email, phone and events to identify sales opportunities
  • Ensure close communication with potential customers and develop positive relationships with them
  • Develop an excellent understanding of not only our customers and leads but also the market situation
  • Establish operational excellence for our sales activity and sales reporting
  • Maintain high-quality records in our CRM system (Hubspot) to stay current on leads and follow-ups
Requirements

You’ll be great in this role if you:
  • Have 2-3 years of hands-on sales experience preferably at a SaaS company
  • Are an excellent network builder based upon trust and proactive engagement
  • Have the ability to explain complex topics in a simple manner to convince leads that Navigating Art is the right fit for them
  • Care a lot about what you do and want to have a real impact on our company’s success
  • Ideally: Obtain a network in the art market
