What you will do

Within our technology lab we develop new polymer films and release materials for predominantly technical tapes. The new position will contribute to strengthen our leading role in the field of sustainable raw materials, processes and products.
  • Development of new concepts and key technologies in an international environment, specifically in the field of sustainable polymer films
  • Worldwide state of the art analysis of sustainable polymer film technology
  • Project Management
  • Planning, execution and evaluation of trials in lab and pilot scale
  • Evaluation and implementation of new test methods for sustainable materials
  • Documentation, interpretation and presentation of results

What you will need
  • PhD degree in chemistry, physics or process engineering with focus on polymer technology
  • Know how in the field of sustainable raw materials
  • Practical skills and experience in polymer processing or film production
  • Independent, team-oriented and a proactive attitude with an international mindset
  • Creative, open-minded and structured way of working
  • Excellent language skills in English and routine in using of typical office applications (MS Office 365 etc.)
  • German language skills advantageous
