With revenues of more than $40 billion and the largest investment in R&D in the industry, we give our people the resources and chances to create significant contributions to the world.The job:Fixed-term contract until April 2024The Regional Market Development Manager (RMD) leads the transformation of business strategy into engaging regional marketing that builds customer value, revenue and growth.You will partner with the Global Market Development team and other internal partners, to develop and implement the EMEA marketing strategy across the Human Identification (HID) market, with a focus on the Forensic Laboratory, Law Enforcement and Border Security segments, utilising our market leading portfolios.Driving impactful marketing activities that accelerates our growth in the Law Enforcement segment, and extends our overall market leadership position is key to this role. You will also enable our commercial and distributor organisations to deliver EMEA Marketing revenue and achieve business financial goals.This role will be fully remote (working from home), based anywhere in Western Europe. Some travel – up to 25% per annum max – including overnight stays may be required. The role is a fixed-term contract to cover a parental leave within the team and is expected to run until April 2024.What will you do?
  • Collaborate with our global marketing, regional marketing and sales teams to achieve bold performance targets
  • Drive the planning and deployment of impactful external and internal events that connect positively with our customer base
  • Develop and deliver the regional marketing strategy & plan. Analyse marketing performance and adjust campaigns to deliver against incremental revenue goals, accelerating demand in the EMEA region
  • Bring New Product Introductions to customers and partners to achieve revenue targets, aligning with product management and commercial managers to ensure success
  • Provide impactful marketing, tools and training that enable our sales channels (direct and channel partners) to achieve financial and campaign goals
  • Regularly interact with senior leadership and perform detailed analysis & reporting around business performance, customers, markets and segments
  • Be responsible for your budget, ensuring marketing activities achieve expectations
Who we are looking for:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in genetics, molecular biology or another Life Sciences subject area – preferred, but not required
  • Extensive marketing experience, including multi-channel campaign development and deployment, plus awareness of digital marketing techniques
  • Success in efficiently implementing marketing plans to drive funnel and revenue growth
  • Experience organising country and region level events that meet with objectives and deliver on targets
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and operating within a matrix organisation to achieve goals
  • Ability to work on problems and to find creative solutions
  • Ability to build strong networks and influence across teams without direct authority
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a can-do positive approach with a desire to succeed, as well as the ability to overcome failures to produce success
