Overview

The Qualtiy Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) is co-responsible for testing our own developed authorization application GANS. This is an authorization and routing application that supports acquiring including Swiss network operations, issuing and cross border debit business for various customers. The brands MC, VISA, JCB, Diners and UP are supported with their respective protocols and the required cryptography.

Your tasks

• Familiarization with the functionality of the GANS Realtime application to be tested
• Creation of test specifications, test plans and test cases
• Planning and execution of module, component, integration, system and regression tests using transaction simulators
• Analysis and evaluation of test results including the identification of errors and the development of solutions with the development department
• functional and technical contact for the subject of testing
• Preparation of technical documentation and writing of test reports

Your profile

• A successfully completed degree in computer science, technical computer science, electrical engineering or another STEM field of study.
• First competencies in test specification and execution as well as cooperation with development department in hardware and software development projects
• Fluent German as well as very good technical English, both written and spoken
• Cooperation with the development department in the context of hardware and software development projects
• Strong communication skills and good organizational skills
• Empathy and ability to deal with conflicts are important qualities in this coordinating position
• Independent working style and at the same time good and reliable team player
