Product Manager EMEA

YOUR PROFILE
  • University degree in Business/Marketing or Natural Sciences
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, another European language desirable (e.g. German, French or Italian)
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in medical devices product management and preferably also in sales with a major medical manufacturer/provider, with demonstrated success in developing and tactical marketing activities
  • Strong interest in medicine and the willingness to accompany our customers during clinical interventions
  • Hands-on attitude with go-to mentality and high degree of self-motivation
  • Creative thinker to solve issues within an agreed timeframe, always seeking to improve
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focused approach to addressing business issues
  • Believes that the ‘Best Team Wins’
  • Intercultural working experience and the ability of building a strong network inside and outside the organization
  • Expert in computer skills (MS Office, SFDC)
  • Occasional willingness to multi-day trips abroad, up to 25% of time
Description

The Product Manager develops marketing strategies, tools and tactics to drive growth, profitability, predictability for assigned market segments and/or products in EMEA. The position ensures the launch deliverables of the defined product area meet market needs of the EMEA region and sales organizations are enabled to market the product. Cooperates with local sales organizations, regional and corporate functional teams and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
  • Being part of an energetic and growth focused EMEA Marketing Team
  • Product Management
    • EMEA Product Management in cooperation with the global Headquarter in the US
      • Breast Biopsie Marker & Ultrasound Biopsie Portfolio
      • Specimen X-Ray & Gamma Detection System Portfolio
    • Communicate with Global Marketing and exchange information necessary for the improvement of product, processes and compliance
    • Ensure effective launch of new products within assigned brands and GTM plans
    • Development of clear value propositions to customers and distil into marketing messages and pricing strategies
    • Implement marketing campaigns for new and current products to deliver planned growth in the EMEA region
    • Ensure proper sales plan execution and support in every region within assigned brands
    • Develop and implement marketing measures in close cooperation with our international sales organizations
    • Supports field sales organization on highly technical product inquiries
    • Provides Field Sales tools to execute business plans to Region
    • Participate in VOC events as needed to capture needed input for new product development meetings, product improvement programs and overall market research
  • Market Development and Analysis
    • Complete market segmentation studies, develop strategy to penetrate the segments and monitor effectiveness
    • Identification of market trends, customer requirements, competitive landscape
    • Develop tools for the sales force to use that will increase sales and market share
  • Clinical Education (ProfEd, Clinical Evidence Generation, Advisory Board)
    • Organizing and executing events/ Professional Education to support product strategies
    • Local activities in the direct markets
    • Seeks contact and builds relationships to clinicians, e.g. at conferences, events or clinic visits
    • Key Opinion Leader Programmes
  • Actively spends time with customers, in internal and field visits, to ensure alignment of marketing plans to fulfill customer and market needs and to ensure strong customer insights
  • Local Marketing representative for a selected direct market
