Ihre Aufgaben

• You are responsible for platform or framework designs in software projects
• You carry out code reviews
• You are responsible for system design and software architecture/design work
• You analyze showstopper error tickets (with platform scope)
• You are supporting the sales organization by working on proposals or customer meetings for pre-sales
• You support recruitment activities as a domain expert
• You train teams on customer specific topics (architecture of platforms, support for specificplatforms from the market or own assets)
• You are a trainer, able to train and guide development teams
• You ensure that assigned teams master their associated domain, having overview of current developments in the market, contacts to at least one OEM in the area of the associated domain, mastering the necessary development steps like: analysing the associated requirements, creating designs to match the software architecture, creating unit tests, analyzing critical errors
  

Ihr Profil

• Proven experience related to automotive embedded software development (preferably for OEM/TIER1 projects)
• Several years of professional experience in automotive field – preferably in Automotive sector with specialization on one of the following elements: electronic control unit software development, high performance computer solutions, digital cockpit developments, ADAS, connectivity, e-powertrain.
• Skills:
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar with minimum 6 years prof. experience in automotive engineering industry
• Professional experience working with automotive OEMs or tier 1 automotive suppliers
• Familiar with software development life cycle and programming concepts and programming languages, e.g. C/C++ (API design)
• At least 3 years of experience working as an ECU system architect
• Proven experience in the field of automotive system and software architecture for embedded devices
• Experience the relevant tools for requirements engineering and system architecture (SysML, UML, DOORS/PTC, Enterprise Architect or similar tools)
• Understanding of AUTOSAR concept and tool chain
• Understanding of SoCs, relevant for automotive ECUs, mainly but not only ARM based
• Understanding of automotive bus systems (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, Flexray)
• Understanding of the SOME/IP concept
• Understanding of basic principles for Functional Safety implementations (ISO26262, SOTIF)
• Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Experience with embedded automotive operating systems (embedded Linux, QNX, Integrity)
• Familiar with the principles of requirements engineering
• Familiar with requirements engineering tools, system and software design tools and tool chains for Continuous Integration / Continuous Development.
• Experience with Automotive SPICE is a PLUS
• Enjoys working independently, focused and proactive in a highly team and client-oriented environment
• Enthusiastic, flexible and keen approach to learning, etc.
• Structured individual with good problem-solving skills
• Comfortable in customer facing role, confident and thoughtful
• Must able to work alone with minimum guidance, but also be able to operate effectively as part of a team
• Ability to see the bigger picture but have a passion for details where it matters (out of the box thinking)
• Excellent communication skills: mandatory C1 or equivalent English- and mandatory B2 or equivalent German language skills. French is a big PLUS
