fashionette is a European platform for premium and luxury fashion accessories. We combine technology including our proprietary IT platform, data and analytics with our excellent industry know-how in fashion accessories helping women to complete their outfits.

Our success story started in 2008 focusing on handbags and has been developing into a leading online platform for premium and luxury fashion accessories in the DACH region which led to our IPO in October 2020.

Today, we offer over 14,000 products from more than 180 brands in categories including handbags, shoes, jewelry & watches, sunglasses and accessories. Aufgaben
  • As backend developer you are responsible for the development of new features in our ecommerce platform:
    • Support our product owners in defining scopes and solutions
    • Implement features, focusing on performance, security and maintainability
    • Write unit and integration tests
    • Support our quality assurance team in testing features and roll out features to our production systems
    • Support our business and customer care teams with questions on functionalities of the platform
  • With your desire to learn new things, you are constantly working on making our application and development processes better
  • Be part of a team of experienced developers and participate in code reviews
  • You participate in refinement sessions and contribute to finding solutions and help estimate efforts
  • You contribute to the detail planning of our tasks and subtasks in close collaboration with other team members and the POs
Profil
  • You have proven knowledge in writing modern, maintainable, and scalable PHP applications
  • You have experience with at least one PHP framework (Laravel and/or Lumen would be good, but is not a strict requirement)
  • You are experienced with common database systems like MySQL/MariaDB and Redis
  • You have a deep understanding of the web technology stack (like HTTP(s), REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.)
  • You have experience with microservices, domain-driven design, SOLID and similar development patterns
  • You have worked in an agile software development environment; continuous delivery and DevOps are familiar to you
  • Experience with AWS, Google Cloud or similar are an advantage
  • You have excellent communication skills in the English language, both spoken and written are a must
