Each day you´ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Manage and/or support global engineering projects
- Provide support to the local engineering teams at our manufacturing sites
- Participate in business case preparations, provides input for technology transfer projects (check feasibilities, write plant specification, process optimization, profitability analysis)
- Identify and develop global engineering standards, best practices and ensure smooth roll out to the manufacturing sites
- Provide scientific engineering solutions to problems in Global Manufacturing by using OPEX problem solving techniques
- Consciously looking for EHS and Quality "by design" solutions during coordinated projects, drive Early Equipment Management approach in new machinery purchases
- Manage and support LEAN and SIX SIGMA tools development and deployment to the manufacturing sites
- Support TPM development at the sites
- Continuously looking for process improvement opportunities
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- University degree in pharmaceutical engineering (or equal)
- 7-10 years engineering experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years experience in WCM environment, knowledge of TPM, Lean and Six Sigma tools are required
- Succesful implementation of pharmaceutical projects
- Very good knowledge of technical regulations and the special requirements of the pharmaceutical industry (GMP) as well as solid process knowledge
- Fluency in business English, German and Spanish skills are beneficial
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Working experience in a highly matrixed environment
- Track record of managing multiple conflicting priorities and projects
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Knowledge and experience on serialization and aggregation is beneficial
- Experience in digitalization is an advantage
