Operations Manager (m/f/d)

About the Job

We’re looking for a motivated Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and support its operations strategies.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on ensuring that operations run smoothly and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

Join our portfolio company: A German InsurTech company focused on protecting businesses from cyber threats. The startup offers a unique combination of insurance and cyber protection.

In this role, you’ll:

• Assist the Founders and Leadership team on ad hoc tasks ranging from administration to investor reporting
• Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team with Finance and HR, managing and supervising the reporting of daily operations and general company administration
• Be the interface to our accounting department to ensure transparency on cost vs. budget while documenting and categorising costs related to the funding program
• Coordinate the hiring process with the HR team
• Contribute to office management projects such as the office reorganisation and support with organising team and company event

Your Profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant position and field
• Previous experience in at least one of the following: High-growth startup, business operations in Tech, Top-tier management consulting, Investment banking, or Private equity
• Knowledge of Financial Modelling is a big plus.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills along with a strategic and analytical way of thinking
• Characterised by a reliable, accurate and independent way of working
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Have successfully completed your studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlinoffice of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
