Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Job Overview

As a member of our EMEA master production schedule team in the Automotive business unit, this individual will be focusing on our EMEA MPS process across our various manufacturing sites for one of our technologies (stamping, molding, or assembly).

The main function is to support the improvement and implementation of the standardized EMEA MPS process across the different manufacturing plants. For this, the Master Production Schedule Analyst will collaborate closely with the respective manufacturing plant MPS responsible. The target is to ensure the correct systems setup, load and capacity visibility and levelling, identification of capacity constraints and alignment on the appropriate actions. The Master Production Schedule Analyst will support actively key actions that need to be driven forward and liaise with other functions such as Planning, S&OP, Procurement and Operations when needed.

As a Master Production Schedule Analyst, You Will
  • Ensure weekly standardized MPS process for the defined value stream across all related EMEA AUT plants
  • Monitor weekly the 13-weeks demand / capacity EMEA for the defined value stream
  • Review constraints, load levelling and coordinate action for resolution
  • Support the correct systems setup for capacities
  • Ensure capacity projects are kept to schedule
  • Support transfer activities
  • Identify improvement potentials and drive improvement projects
  • Support IBP Response & Supply implementation
What your background should look like
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business, Logistics or related field.
  • At least 2 years of scheduling operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in international environment and automotive sector is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge and experience of MRP/ERP Systems (SAP), ideally Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Excellent collaboration skills required. Able to effectively communicate at different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly analytical to identify improvement opportunities
  • Conceptual and problem-solving skills, pragmatic approach with the ability to drive results
  • Sound understanding of lean principles
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Intermediate in German written and spoken
  • Availability to travel occasionally
