The role is responsible for managing & governing all transformational change within DE, delivering efficiency, consistency & quality in people, process & technology and includes the implementation of automation tools such as Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
The Manager of Business Excellence will report directly to the General Manager of ADP DE and will dotted line into the SVP Service Delivery ESI). The role has direct leadership responsibility and accountability for supporting the creation and execution of the DE, CE and ESI vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
The role is responsible for managing & governing all transformational change within DE, delivering efficiency, consistency & quality in people, process & technology through implementation of automation tools such as Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Developing and embedding a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Management tools & methodologies. Driving the development and adoption of our Service Delivery System platforms through capturing and executing on voice of associate and voice of client feedback and improving and optimizing our internal communications to support the adoption of change.
Responsible for Business Process Improvement (BPI), Portfolio Management Office (PMO), Business Readiness, Quality & Audit (QA), Service Delivery Systems (SDS) and Business Security.
Key Duties/Tasks
- Ensuring the business is ready, prepared and adopting (cultural/process/system/structural) change
- Ongoing assessment and deep understanding of our process, people and technology to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure consistent/cooperative rollout of initiatives and accepted accountability of BPI results by the department owner across the country as well as alignment with ADP DE Operational and Strategic plans
- Developing and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and automation within the DE business utilising proven process improvement methodologies such as Lean Management
- Delivering productivity gains through BPI initiatives that also drive better associate & client experience
- Execution and monitoring of the Client Loyalty Program and strong focus on improving the NPS
- Centralized management, reporting & governance of DE change initiatives through the DE PMO ensuring alignment and timely execution with the DE strategy
- Ensuring ADP DE’s compliance to external audit (ISAE3402)
- Execution of the ESI Service Delivery system tools; improving the ease of use, adoption & interaction through facilitating regular and ongoing voice of client and associate feedback
- Improvement of our DE Communications to ensure the right messages are delivered to the right people in the right format using the latest technologies that will drive engagement and awareness
- Implement on-going Management Information reporting and metrics to enable performance management across all areas of Business Excellence
- Monitoring, reviewing all security incidents and developing and delivering business initiatives to prevent security incidents reoccurring and protecting ADP’s business
- Ensuring the GM and key stakeholders are kept informed of progress and initiatives have delivered the expected benefits
- A leader of professionals; responsible for leading the DE Business Excellence & Transformation team of +/- 8 professionals.
- This position requires mature leadership skills as well as strong change management skills
- Proven track record in execution of initiatives with an excellent decision-making skill set
- Must be able to influence multi-directional and non-linear relationships
- Must be able to clearly articulate strategy and obtain buy-in from various stakeholders and resources
- Willing to lead unproven initiatives, challenging new projects, untested, crossing functional and/or unit boundaries, leading change
- Must be "marketplace informed," anticipate adverse events, react to unforeseen challenges
- Must be able to institutionalize business operating procedures and standards
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong inter-personal communication skills
- Understand the client loyalty principles around NPS and improve the NPS by mapping the client journey
- Practitioner level knowledge of BPI and project management tools and practices
- Excellent time management, presentation and organizational skills
- Ability to challenge established processes or procedures and generate innovative ideas for creatively enhancing service and solutions
- Passion for quality and excellence with a relentless drive towards flawless execution
- Educated to degree level or above
- 5+ years’ experience in Operations, Service, or Implementation with large multi-national companies
- Extensive experience in Business Process Improvement and Change Management with a proven track record in delivering results
- Experience working across matrix organizations and international environments
- Strong organizational & project management experience
- Lean 6 Sigma, Business Process Improvement experience & qualifications
- Experience of business to business HR / Payroll systems desirable
- Travel to all ADP DE locations and international as required
