A leading independent investor, developer, and asset manager of European Solar PV parks (as well as wider technologies), this business sets the pace for the rest to follow in return-driven investments with a focus on longevity as partners in order to maximise the returns for their investors and the management teams whom they support. Managing over 1000 renewables assets valuing over €2.5 billion, they have a three-year goal of 5GW of renewable assets.
Responsibilities
As a Junior Commercial Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful management and performance of our renewable energy assets. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Senior Asset Managers in the day-to-day operations of renewable energy projects, including wind farms, solar parks, and hydro plants.
- Conducting financial analyses and preparing reports on the performance of renewable energy assets.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement to maximize asset performance and profitability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless asset management.
- Assisting in contract management, ensuring compliance with agreements and handling any commercial disputes that may arise.
- Participating in asset due diligence processes for potential acquisitions or new project developments.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations in the renewable energy sector.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Knowledge and passion for the renewable energy industry, with a strong interest in sustainability and environmental stewardship.
- Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other financial modeling tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken).
- Prior experience or internships in the renewable energy sector is an advantage but not required.
