IT Project Manager (m/f/d) Business Applications

Your tasks
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of dynamic projects within the Business Applications domain, ensuring that project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are not only met but surpassed.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of innovative projects in areas such as Guidewire, D365 Finance, and Data Warehouse
  • Partner with a diverse team of developers, analysts, and stakeholders to define ambitious project goals and execute requirements with precision
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication with IT and business teams, managing project risks, decisions, and updates to keep all parties aligned and informed.
  • Track project progress, budget adherence, and key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement proactive solutions to address challenges and ensure project success
  • Implement effective measures to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Foster professional development within your team and evaluate team performance, creating an environment that promotes innovation and excellence.


Your profile
  • University degree in computer science, information technology, a related discipline, or a technical subject with additional business qualification
  • Several years of experience in project management, in IT project management preferably in the in-Business Applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and teamwork skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams toward project success.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred. Agile methods are welcome as well.
    • Fluent in spoken and written English, and the ability to move confidently in an international environment (German or any other European language skills are optional).
