Your Role

The IT Financials Expert (m/f/d) is a supporting function to the global IT portfolio of Contract Logistics and Integrated Logistics, aiming to provide the financial transparency needed to steer the costs and investments on portfolio level as well as enabling the consumers of the IT services to optimize their costs. Ensuring a mature cost management and service charging, providing financial reports to support fast and qualified decision making and highlighting early financial deviation and room for new investments to generate new business value are important success factors in this role.
Your Responsibilities
  • You own the yearly budgeting process for the IT portfolio and you build up the budget plan together with the Product Owners.
  • You contribute to the adherence to the cost plan by monitoring the cost development of operational IT services and projects and you clarify major deviations.
  • You assure the correctness of the IT service charges to the countries. Additionally you establish service design principles from finance perspective, leading to a consistent service set-up.
  • You are the first point of contact for the countries for questions around charged service costs.
  • You establish utmost transparency of the IT costs charged to the countries. Thus allowing optimization of service consumption + costs.
  • You consult the IT Service Owners in creating new services regarding the financial aspects.
  • You advance the standardization and simplification of finance processes within the portfolio.

Your Skills And Experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or similar
  • Profound knowledge around cost controlling of IT services and IT projects plus steering costs on portfolio level
  • Profound knowledge in Microsoft Excel and good skills in Tableau Desktop.
  • Capability to master complex interrelationships.
  • Strong communication skills and very collaborative attitude.
  • Very strong reselience.
  • Intercultural competence and good spoken and written English skills.
