Location:
This position can be based out of our office in Ettenheim or Karlsruhe.
As a Deskside Support Specialist you will:
  • Provide onsite and remote connection support for all IT related end user issues.
  • Support provisioning and deprovisioning of hardware, software and accounts for new hires and exits.
  • Troubleshoot hardware , printer and software issues.
  • Install and maintain hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Install and upgrade operating systems and computer software.
  • Troubleshoot networking and connection issues.
  • Advise on software or hardware upgrades.
  • Maintain IT Asset database and stock management.
  • Provide basic training in computer operation and management.
  • Partner with IT Security to ensure end user devices are patched and managed to security standards, compliance, and best practices.
  • Document processes and update/improve current documentation.
  • We’re looking for a Deskside Support Specialist who:
  • Has experience providing deskside support (desktops and laptops), ideally within an enterprise environment.
  • Has experience working with a ticketing system such as Service Now, Fresh Service etc.
  • Has knowledge and/or experience supporting SaaS Collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Office 365 or Google Application Suite).
  • Has hands on experience with Azure AD, Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Is a natural problem solver.
  • Can communicate effectively with an array of stakeholders.
  • Has knowledge/experience in mobile (iOS/Android), macOS, Windows and printer management.
  • Is willing to be on call as part of a team rota.
  • Demonstrates empathy for end users and a passion for a frictionless user experience.
  • Is willing to occasionally travel between Coupa’s offices in Ettenheim and Karlsruhe.
  • It would also be great (but not essential) for you to:
  • Have hands on experience with endpoint management solutions (e.g. MS Endpoint Manager/Intune or Jamf).
  • Have experience working with a mix of local & globally distributed teams.
  • Be Fluent in German.
