Within this internship you have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas towards quantifying product reliability in the context of E-mobility.
  • Become a part of an innovative team and work together on research topics related to material modelling. Perform tasks related to enhancing simulation capabilities with user-subroutines and validation of implemented methodologies.
  • You will be mainly involved in FE modeling and non-linear material simulations. Offer support with calibration of material data and identification of model parameters.
  • In addition, you will document, summarize and present the results within the team.
Qualifications
  • Education: studies in the field of Computational Mechanics, Computational Materials/ Engineering or comparble
  • Experience and Knowledge: background in Finite Element Method and Solid Mechanics, experience in scientific programming of user-subroutines (using Fortran, Python or MATLAB)
  • Personality and Working Practice: independent, willing to learn and team-oriented
  • Enthusiasm: keen interest in material modeling and numerical simulations
  • Languages: fluent in German or English
