Head of Wholesale Client Services

As the Barclays Head of Wholesale Client Services, you will lead an important team who are responsible for partnering between the front office and operations, building and managing key stakeholder relations for both onboarding and refresh. You will drive operations, quality, change and process improvements and compliance to in country policy and expectations.

What will you be doing?
• You will lead a team providing front office support for escalations, working collaboratively with operations and the business to resolve
  • Leading process improvements to drive a sustainable and enhance service offering, minimising the volume of escalation
  • You will be the lead escalation contact for support in translations, client call attendance and audit support in relation to Onboarding and refresh
  • You will be a senior stakeholder manager for internal country/regional and external regulatory relationships ensuring regular and visible reporting is available
  • Leading country/regional change initiatives and process improvements across KYC Maintenance function globally, partnering with Jetbridge 2.0 program lead,
  • Creating and managing metrics, including regional SLA’s, control oversight and work queues for the countries you are supporting
  • Being accountable for meeting the regulatory obligations in the execution of Customer due diligence checks and ensuring evidence of execution and tracking is visible
  • Being rsponsible for driving the colleague engagement agenda, maintaining high levels of colleague engagement and championing talent developments and retention
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in Operational Management/Financial Services as an Obboarding Specialist
  • Language and translation capabilities in atleast one of the following German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese
  • Detailed understanding of Investment and Corporate Banking industry inc KYC/AML processes

Skills that will helpyou in the role:
• An exceptional leader with the ability to successfully build and manage teams
  • Strong process optimisation experience across complex, regulatory in nature processes
  • Experience in planning, delivering and successful execution of operational projects/change
  • Prior experience with using the corporate/investment bank’s computer systems (such as Customer Gateway, Jet Bridge, Swift, Siebel SRS, SOLD and Edocs)
