PPRO is looking for a Global Head of Procurement, Facility & Office Services to join our Munich office. In this role, you are responsible for the Procurement & Facility Services as well as Office Management of the PPRO Group, a regulated (FCA and CSSF) international payment service provider focusing on Local Payment Methods worldwide with locations covering the Americas, Europe and Asia.
What will you be doing:
You will establish the Procurement, Facility & Office Services department of PPRO as a separate in-house function by developing and executing internal standards as well as developing and building the appropriate international team. In this role you will:
- Develop and manage PPRO’s procurement program by implementing low-bureaucracy, efficient new policies, procedures and systems for best purchasing practices across functions
- Create long term sourcing strategies, culture of long-term saving on procurement costs and track metrics to reduce spend and improve effectiveness
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and finalize terms and conditions on contracts
- Manage the execution of request for proposals, bid analysis, contract development, and negotiation, ensuring that the end-to-end process is well documented and transparent.
- Manage contracts renewals, month over month usage, and vendor due diligence
- Create processes to perform supplier risk assessments; supplier health and contract management
- Evaluate and process purchase requisitions efficiently to reduce downstream holds
- Serve as subject matter expert for best-in-class procurement practices and tools
- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Assure the security of the facilities, conduct and document regular facilities inspections as well as ensures health and safety standards Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiencySupervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Plan and manage facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and parking
- Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment as well as with HR to maintain office policies as necessary
- Manage a team of local office support staff and build out the teams further moving
You’ll need to have:
- Have at least 7-10 years of experience in procurement & facility management and leadership experience
- Have a BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Facility Mgmt. or other related fields; MBA preferred
- Drive for results. Counted on to deliver goals, constantly pushes self and others to achieve objectives and key results
- Experienced in working with numerous cross-functional disciplines and regularly achieve consensus amongst teams
- Understands broad stakeholder needs, knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting his/her business organization
- Experienced in contract analysis, negotiation, financial modeling and RFP/ RFI/RFQ creation and evaluation
- Creates and communicates a compelling vision beyond the current state with optimism and mileposts to rally support.
- Be able to effectively build relationships as well as influence and drive change in a cross-functional team environment
- Have the ability and experience to build and develop a team
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English and ideally German, additional language skills are an advantage
- Be willing to go on national and international business trips as needed
