As a Head of Data & Insights you will grow, lead and develop our team of data engineers, data scientists and analysts and scale up engineering and analyst procedures. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering and cross-functional leadership, including Marketing & Product.

Your mission

• Develop and implement the structure for the new Data & Insights department and own the goal setting and roadmap
• Build and manage the Data Engineering team to define our data infrastructure and maintain our evolving data warehouse
• Develop and take ownership of our data warehouse, related data pipelines, and comprehensive reporting dashboards to empower data access and self-service, and to instrument critical business metrics
• Develop and champion our business intelligence architecture, standards, tools and capabilities to support business objectives with data
• Work together with our Data Analytics lead to define a long-term analytics strategy supporting the continuous growth of the business and product.
• Manage and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Engineering, Compliance, Banking Operations, Product and Marketing
  

Your profile

• 8+ years experience in business intelligence, data engineering or any similar fields
• You have experience in leading and growing teams and are a respectful team player with deep functional expertise
• You have a strong understanding about data warehousing/data pipelining experience ideally in a banking context, transformation orchestration with modern architectures (e.g. DBT, Airflow, Prefetch), AWS administration & some DevOps experience, SQL, QA
• Experience in data/software engineering as well as in (agile) product management.
• Ability to develop, deliver and operate data-driven solutions on a large scale
• A deep understanding of product-led growth and how data & analytics feed into it
• You bring experience in Fintech and/or banking related businesses
• People know you for your excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) where you align with different types of stakeholders & management on your strategy, potential risks and roadmap
• Beneficial: Tag management, data visualization, event-driven tracking (product analytics) implementation, experience in self-hosted (open-source) compliant solutions beyond standard startup tooling like Google Analytics
