About the role

As a Group Controller, you will be given the opportunity to establish lean and efficient reporting processes without legacy issues, taking over end-to-end responsibility for assigned tasks with a small team. You will gain invaluable experience in varying projects and working in an international environment, while being a core part of and growing with an innovative company that has the goal to multiply revenue over the coming years.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the setup and further development of cross-company controlling processes and instruments
• Creating and analyzing financial information at the interface between business controlling and accounting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs, consolidated reports, and flash reports)
• Being responsible for the planning and budgeting process of SAP Fioneer and supporting the evaluation and follow-up of continuous improvement measures
• Acting as an interface between departments and international subsidiaries
• Assisting divisions in understanding their financial performance
• Generating variance and result analyses for internal and external stakeholders
• Analyzing the financials of potential add-on acquisitions

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Relevant work experience in controlling, preferably from a Big4 accounting firm or in the FSI, software, consulting, or services industry
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP/controlling software or BI tools
• Highly motivated to work hard and consistently complete tasks
• An aptitude for taking full responsibility for tasks and processes, streamlining and optimizing business processes, and working both independently and in a team environment
• Fluency in both German and English is a must, and the preferred location is Munich or the willingness to relocate.
