Are you energetic, highly motivated and eager to try new things? Looking for a role that will give you comprehensive insight into how Ethernet switches and PHYs are used in automotive? As part of our product management team in Munich, you’ll get an interesting experience understanding the automotive landscape, defining actions to meet our business strategies and implementing day to day tactics with the collaboration of the cross functional teams and customers.

Your team

The marketing team within the Automotive Ethernet Solutions group is managing the product portfolio, and provides product & marketing support to the worldwide business development, sales and field application teams. It interacts with customers worldwide to understand future requirements and to present the benefits of our current solutions. Our team is well recognized within the automotive market as experts and belongs to the cross-industry community that introduces novelties in car networking.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Identify new features for NXP networking products to meet future market requirements. Contribute to product roadmaps that result in a differentiated, successful portfolio.
  • Maintain an up-to-date view on competition landscape.
  • Support market research & business intelligence, maintain market size model (Ethernet TAM/SAM).
  • Follow key industry trends and gather customer (OEM & TIER1) networking trends.
  • Define and execute successful, impactful go-to-market strategies & campaigns.
  • Trigger business development initiatives in close cooperation with Sales, resulting in future design-wins.
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral for internal or customer use (e.g. white papers, blogs, product bulletins, etc.). Support trade shows and technical society meetings.

Required and desired skills and experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in electronics, embedded system, or informatics.
  • Interest in the field of marketing for semiconductor products, with a focus on the fast growing and highly dynamic Automotive Ethernet market
  • Ideally some technical background in Automotive electronics / Automotive networks
  • Capable of establishing open and trusting relationships with customers
  • High degree of flexibility, self-motivation and business orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, cross-cultural mind-set
  • Independent working style, fast learner, creative and open for new ideas
  • Good written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English, German is a plus
