Global Product Manager Functional Safety (f/m/d)

AUFGABEN

Responsibility for the development and maintenance of global TÜV SÜD Academy training products (instructor-led trainings, online trainings, exams) in English with a focus on the topic of Functional Safety throughout the entire life cycle

Development of a corresponding product portfolio, qualification schemes, product roadmap and strategy

Evaluate existing training products for opportunities to innovate and enlarge global product portfolio, improve our market standing, providing additional to customers

Upgrade suitable training products from local to global products

Analysis of international customer / market needs and translation into market-oriented products (innovative and digital training concepts, qualification schemes) throughout its life cycle from initial concept, development, launch, world-wide roll-out, maintenance, phase out and migration to next generation products

Establishment of an internal and external world-wide network of experts, evaluating the business and competitive landscape, understanding customer needs and value drivers which results in the identification of product opportunities

Coordination with Business Unit Academy countries and other technically involved TÜV SÜD Divisions and Business Units

Manage negotiations and contract management with vendors, partners and subject matter experts

Defining and monitoring product related KPIs (financial, quality) to ensure they meet goals for sales revenue and customer satisfaction

Supporting sales teams to consult customers on technically challenging issues and delivering product-related information to marketing for successful marketing campaigns and strategy

Works with Go-to-Market colleagues on the product launch and market strategy to ensure that our products thrive in the market upon release

Managing a cross functional team on a technical basis throughout product development and product roll-out

QUALIFIKATIONEN

A university degree in a technical or commercial field, or comparable degree

Several years of professional experience in product management, business development, project management, training business

Professional experience in the field of training, education, learning and development of human resources

Comprehensive knowledge and ideally proven professional experience in the subject area of Functional Safety (e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21448, IEC 61508, IEC 61511, ISO 25119)

Passionate about professional adult education; enthusiasm for making content comprehensible to others in a multitude of different formats

Structured way of thinking and working, strong communication skills and distinct customer orientation as well as the ability to moderate discussions and conflicts in a result-oriented and constructive manner

Strong networking attitude to wield influence externally and internally - ideally with experience and anchoring within the TÜV SÜD network to reach the goals

Experience working in a multi-cultural and virtual work environment

Strong entrepreneurial traits and a flair for successful product development

Being a driver and having a high sense of responsibility and loyalty

Fluent in written and spoken English, further languages of advantage
