We democratize finance & credit scoring in Europe. Wanna help? Join our amazing team in Berlin as a Frontend Engineer Internship/Working Student!

bonify – a Berlin-based FinTech Startup that enables customers to benefit from their credit scoring and financial data. We give customers free & easy access to their credit score and let them upload additional relevant data. Then we offer tools and personalized recommendations to help optimize our customer’s financial situation.

Founded in 2015 by key executives of McKinsey and Zalando, bonify has received significant funding from international leading VCs, e.g., Mosaic Ventures and Ribbit Capital, and successful entrepreneurs, e.g., Zalando founders and Raisin founders.

Tasks

For this position, we are looking for a working student/an intern preferably studying software science, with some experience coding with Javascript. (3 - 6 months) We need someone who learns quickly, has a naturally analytical nature with good attention to detail, and takes responsibility for their own tasks. We want you to focus on R&D to explore the innovative tool to improve our bonify software development site.

Your tasks will include:
  • Exploring no code/low code tools (e.g. Draftbit, wavemaker and etc)
  • Having an interest in developing your coding skills
  • Creating the existing bonify functionality by using draftbit
  • Documenting your notes and research points
Requirements

What we are looking for:
  • Ongoing studies in computer sciences, software engineering, or a comparable subject area
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • An affinity with computer systems, such that you get up to speed with new systems and concepts quickly.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work in a logical and analytical manner.
  • Creativity and analytical thinking
  • Go-getter attitude who can work independently
  • React Native experience is a big plus (interest to learn as well)
