Financial Analyst – PPA and Project Finance (f/m/x)

As a member of theCommercial and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Project Finance teams, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the creation and management of financial models for ib vogt assets, as well as negotiations of project financing agreements and power offtake agreements.

The preferred candidate is knowledgeable of financial analysis, detail-oriented, has a strong sense of responsibility, works well independently and is knowledgeable of different systems, tools and workflows.

Your tasks will include:

• Building sophisticated financial models for photovoltaic and BESS projects among various geographies
• Support Project Finance Team in the negotiation and execution of M&A, funds raising and sale processes
• Strong focus on structuring project finance transactions
• Supporting the preparation of offer/bids and term sheets (financing, PPA, SPA)
• Electricity market analysis to understand price trends and impact in expected profitability at project/portfolio level
• Analize energy offtake structures and make recommendations on the most adequate option for specific projects
• Participant in cross-functional project teams
• Support in PPA market analysis as required

Your Profile:

• 1-2 years’ experience in financial modelling, preferably in the energy sector
• 2-3 year work experience in a financial institution or energy company working on asset analysis
• Strong skills and understanding of MS-Excel. Knowledge of supporting programming languages such a R, Phython, Matlab, etc.. are desirable
• Key competencies, such as:

  • An undergraduate degree with a strong academic record; progress toward a CFA/CAIA or quantitative finance program preferred
• Languages: English (native speaker or excellent command), additional languages welcome
