PLI works in tandem with Mercedes-AMG engineers to co-design the V6 hybrid Formula One engine and develops fuels, lubricants and functional fluids that power the Silver Arrows.

Position:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Account Payables (AP)
  • Automated payments for vendors and I/C partners
  • Manual payments for vendors and I/C partners
  • Vendors Master data management
  • Vendor clearing. Third party vendors reconciliation
  • Operational contact with vendors, dunning letters processing
  • IC-AP monthly reconciliation with counter parties (Italy, Belgium, Spain, Polen and Malaysia)
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Travel expenses processing and booking
  • Bank payments preparation (SAP process + manual payments)
  • Incoming / outcoming payments posting
  • Booking of GL transactions in SAP. JE documents processing
  • Clearing of open items and accounts reconciliation
  • Update exchange rate table
  • Book current monthly accruals and ensure reversal
  • Accrual list (Rückstellungsspiegel HGB)
  • Support Finance Manager in year-end closing process and Audit materials preparation
  • Fixed Assets
  • Assets processing and booking
  • Monthly depreciation run
  • Leasing invoices calculation and booking inclusive IFRS 16
  • Other
  • Accounting control, verification to Group Policies (Travel Policy, LOA)
  • Support in payroll calculation of employees’ benefits
  • Weekly/ monthly Cash Flow report and other cash related reports
  • Statistical Office monthly, NBP reports, other periodic and ad hoc reports)

Requirements:

Qualifications & Education:

  • 2 years experienced in Accountancy
  • Master or Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accountant (IHK) with professional experience in GL and AP
  • Language skills: good level of English needed
  • Very good excel usage
  • Very good negotiation and commination skills
  • Very good work organization
  • Strong networking which can influence other departments and company efficiency
  • High reliability of behavior and work performance
