About Us
Arriver™ is a new software unit and brand, fully focused on developing perception, fusion and drive policy software for the next generation cars. It will deliver an open, scalable and flexible architecture solution running on Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ System on a Chip (SoC) platform. Arriver™ has 800 people in 5 countries – China, Germany, Romania, Sweden, USA – and builds on more than a decade of experience in active safety software development. The company is wholly owned by Veoneer.
What you’ll do?
- Manage a group of engineers for ADAS product development, organized in cross-functional agile teams
- Responsible for your group budget and personnel management
- Apply continuous competence and talent management of your direct reports
- Drive a continuous improvement process, through all the phases of your teams, from forming to performing
- Secure competence and resource allocation to product development
- Support sourcing of external engineering service partners and coordinate use of external resources
- Ensure efficient cross-team/-site collaborations
- Work with engineering quality to ensure process compliance and deviations are acted upon
- Responsible to create an environment where the development team can perform best
- Advocate and promote agile principles within the development team and the organization
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Several years of leadership experience and a record of leading Agile engineering teams
- Experience in common agile frameworks, e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS etc.
- Good knowledge of industry standards like ISO26262, ISO21434, SOTIF, ASPICE etc.
- Familiar with product development process, preferably in automotive safety systems
- Good communication and coaching skills
- Excellent English language skills in spoken and written form
- Experience in ADAS/AD product development (software, systems and/or V&V) is preferred
