Electronic Control System Engineer (m/w/d)

Aufgaben
- As our Electronic Control System Engineer, you will be at the very front when it comes to ensuring high-quality applications by designing automation solutions for mobile machines and thereby guiding our software development teams straight to success!
- Your get started at the very beginning, when you define system and software development strategies to ensure their successful implementation – and you hold on until the very breakthrough when you implement new software and electronics architectures in our transition to software-driven electronics systems and mobile machines.
- You work with the highest standards when you develop vehicle motion control software, application software algorithms using C/C++ code and application software algorithms using IEC 61131 structured text.
- Furthermore, you design model-based application software components with Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow.
- You ensure top quality when you verify and validate system and software multi-domain solutions with HIL systems and on real machinery.
- Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a similar field.
- 5+ years of experience in the field of electronic control systems engineering including hands-on experience with vehicle network communication such as CAN or Ethernet, diagnostics and telematics as well as practical experience in vehicle system integration.
- 3+ years of experience developing application software in C or C++, as well as experience with model-based design in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and sequential development processes (e.g. V-Model). Agile knowhow (e.g. Scrum) would be a plus.
- Knowledge of software architectural design procedures and techniques, programming knowledge in IEC 61131 ST, SIL and HIL test environments, test automation concepts, IoT applications and integration of AI systems through PLC’s.
- Capability of writing high quality, maintainable and reusable software and of generating top standard engineering documentation.
- You are an open-minded personality who communicates very well in English and appreciates being part of an international development team achieving outstanding results.
