Our client is an innovative pharmaceutical company focused on covering unmet medical needs in the space of Neurology. They are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (m/w/d) for their Neurology range. This role will link the Medical Affairs area and the Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), taking a predominant scientific approach and guaranteeing that different stakeholders have access to medical and scientific information, in compliance with current and internal legislation and regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Provide internal and external technical and scientific expertise under the scope of the products
  • Create, develop and maintain a strong, close and bi-directional scientific relationship with predefined opinion leaders, HCPs and other relevant external stakeholders
  • Understand, discuss and present relevant medical and scientific data to selected HCPs
  • Generation of insights about clinical routine in Parkinson’s Disease and Epilepsy
  • Collect reported adverse events and communicate them to Pharmacovigilance
  • Support in the implementation and dissemination of high-quality medical and scientific educational programs, organized by the company or external scientific groups
  • Support the Marketing and Medical Information teams in scientific development, providing scientific training to the team when necessary
  • Respond to internal and external requests/questions for medical and scientific information on marketed drugs

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Health Sciences, or Medical Doctor (MD) and PhD (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the Central Nervous System area is preferred
  • Knowledge of the regulations and procedures in the Pharmaceutical Industry is an advantage
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Good interpersonal skills, communication and teamwork
  • Autonomy, proactivity and good analytical skills
  • Availability to travel
