Job Summary

Reporting to Regional Sales Director, the Customer Service Representative will provide sales support to customers and distributors in Europe. The position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, both from a financial and product development standpoint.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for pre and post-sale oral and written communication with customers and distributors in assigned territory including distribution of product datasheets reliability reports, and any other technical documents.
  • Act as liaison between outside sales and all inside business unit team members including operations, engineering, finance and quality to qualify and prioritize customer issues escalating to proper internal resources for appropriate resolution in a timely manner.
  • Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s).
  • Maintains accurate, weekly product forecast through regular contact with customers and distributors along with generating periodic reports to support sales management.
  • Maintains accurate shipping, bookings, design win, pricing and other customer specific records for territory. Initiates phone calls and e-mails as necessary to maintain such accurate database.
  • Perform analysis of customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules; influencing production and shipping schedules; recommending price changes based on company/customer relationship; recognizing new business opportunities.
  • Assist with travel and meeting arrangements for BU, customers, and management members.
Qualifications

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Bachelor degree (preferred)
  • Prior experience in the semiconductor or related industry
  • Previous customer service experience (minimum 5 years)
