We are looking for a new team member for our Computer Vision and ML team!

Requirement: 6 months Mandatory internship for university

Start: by arrangement / immediately

Location: Düsseldorf-Bilk

At Livello, we are building different computer vision methods, such as computer vision-based multi-camera people and product recognition solutions that detect objects and movements in rooms and on shelves. It tracks the replenished/removed products based on people movement tracking in the room, pose detection and individual shelf sensor tracking using sensor fusion. It also identifies misplaced products and alerts or guides the users in their shopping experience. Our solutions have been developed on the basis of Tensorflow, OpenCV, and Python.

Tasks

  • Working in the area of Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with focus on product (primarily food) and people recognition (position, pose, movement, age, gender, DSGVO compliant)
  • Your work will include the formulation and development of Machine Learning models
  • You will help design, build and test new products similar to Amazon Go
  • Documentation, verification and testing of the created software, as well as software integration
  • Working independently on your own projects as well as team-projects
Requirements

  • Studies in the field of computer science / data science as well as first professional experience in those fields
  • Experience with computer vision to identify people and objects
  • Proficient in Python, OpenCV, PyTorch and Tensorflow (optional: Docker)
  • Experience in image processing, algorithms and neural networks
  • Cooperative and independent work, analytical mindset, and willingness to take responsibility
  • Fluent in English
