YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Join our established but fast growing technology business who are expanding across Europe and internationally. We are looking for an Information Security and Compliance Manager to join our expanding compliance function. As an Information Security Manager, you will assist internal teams in responding to client security, legal and compliance reviews and revising policies to meet evolving industry standards. This person is the "First Stop" and primary /point of contact for compliance requests coming from our external and internal clients. This person will respond and then further involve company resources to timely and fully respond to questionnaires from customers and prospects.


ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the VP and General Counsel in the US, we are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager who’ll be proactively responsible for ensuring our internal governance and compliance for all information security deliverables across Europe and APAC. You make sure that our Information Security Management System is maintained along with compliance to policies, procedures within particular ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR and other regulatory guidelines.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for procedural, physical and security related aspects of service
  • Applying and reviewing relevant policies and operating procedures
  • Be familiar with international data privacy and security regulations
  • Assist with updating policies and procedures for Identity and Privilege Access Management
  • Assist with governance, policy and reporting of - IT health check, Audits, Pen tests, Patching, Security clearance levels of staff delivering the service to the customer
  • Assist with implementing and documenting IS027001 best practice / compliance.
  • Assist with responding to security incidents
  • Assist employees when they experience security incidents on the job and ensure proper security measures are followed
  • Closely work with legal department on Data Protection
  • Work in partnership with our Sales organisation completing the Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal process.
  • Work in partnership with the Customer Success Team to address Customer related questions and undertake robust audits.


IDEAL EXPERIENCE

  • Experienced Information Security Skills with significant experience across Europe (including UK and Germany)
  • Past work in a supplier environment
  • Good Knowledge of business benefits that security technologies can bring to the customer
  • Experience of managing control systems and maintaining ISO27001 accreditation and SOC 2 audits within an organisation (ideally multi-site and international)
  • IT governance, controls and best practice experience
  • Experienced in 3rd party vendor management and audits
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR, and applicable data protection laws and privacy regulations
  • Preferred languages are English - Fluent. German or other EU languages - Fluency
