Job Description


We are looking for a highly motivated commissioning and support engineer to strengthen our team to support customers when they are facing issues with our products in the field and support our customers in their workshops installing our devices.

You will be traveling throughout Europe to support and train our customers when installing the devices on rail wagons, tank containers and other assets. This to ensure perfect operation of our devices and best possible knowledge transfer doing installations on customer assets.

In our office in Rüsselsheim or Zurich, you will be handling service desk tickets and provide remote support for our customers.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Installing devices in the field on assets
  • Troubleshooting of devices in the field and creation of NCR´s (Non conformity reports)
  • Training workshop personnel on device installation
  • Handling service desk tickets, assigning to responsible parties and status follow up
  • Representing Nexxiot as 2nd level support contact
  • Providing phone support for our customers
  • Collect and structure customer requests and communicate them to internal Product Owners

Qualifications
  • Experience working with mechanical tools
  • Experience with direct contact to customers
  • Problem solving, especially when on site with the customer
  • Good language skills spoken and in writing in English and German (other languages are a plus)
  • Ability to understand and analyse issues and problems
  • Eager to learn and bring in new ideas to improve our way of customer support
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%)

This role is designed to be based in Rüsselsheim or Zurich
hence it would be great if you are eligible to live and work in GER or have a valid work permit in CH.
