The business unit Renewables focusses on the financial aspects of infrastructure and energy-related investments, particularly in the field of renewable energies. The position is Hamburg - Germany based.

We are seeking to identify a highly motivated professional with a minimum of three years relevant experience to be an integral member of the asset management team as a Commercial Asset Manager (m/f/d) - Renewable Energy.

Your profile:

• Experience in commercial Asset Management is required; in renewable energies of wind and/or solar is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required with a concentration in business, finance, accounting. Master’s in finance or accounting or MBA preferred

• Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is required; German language fluency would be helpful, but is not required

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Necessary to manage the various relationships associated with project financing as well as the internal financial analysts
• Ability to perform financial analysis including ROI, IRR and discounted cash flow modelling
• Working in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP)
• You’ll need to have an entrepreneurial mind-set, be independent, self-starting, full of energy and curious
• High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point is required

Your tasks:

• Responsible for managing commercial agreements, compliance of the SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) and the contractors with their contractual obligations
• Prepare financial statements, business activity reports and forecasts
• Manage all project related financial reporting and budgeting in accordance with legal requirements
• Management of contracts, warranty claims and taxes associated with the operational assets
• Coordinate asset management service providers and manage day to day interactions
• Implementing operating strategy across a portfolio and on-boarding of newly acquired assets
• Organizing and implementing a business plan that meets the objectives of the project structure and contracts
• Monitoring and analyzing the key performance indicators of the project
• Manage external debt facilities, including ongoing reporting, reserve management, covenant management, condition subsequent resolution and loan compliance
• Oversee and manage revenue, expenditure and cash balances in project companies (incl. drawdowns, dividends etc.)
• Work closely with investment teams to identify contractual and/or commercial risks with new deals
