The Digital Services Solutions (DSS) organization in BCSS Core Network Engineering, Solutions & CI is responsible for end-to-end solution invention, creation and life-cycle management within Business Area Cloud Software & Services (BCSS). As part of our operations, we develop efficient solutions for 4G and 5G core networks, drive automated operations, and facilitate digital engagements across the BCSS portfolio. Our engagements span from pre- to post-sales activities, e.g. providing e2e PoC, demos and trials, investigating new solutions or use cases enhancing the value of the BCSS portfolio and Target Solutions towards customer selected cloud stacks. E2E solutions target our classical customers - the operators - and enable them to address end customers in the enterprise segment in the right way.

In order to enable DSS mastering the next level of complexity in our Cloud Native Transformation journey we are looking for a very experienced and exposed Developer as Cloud Solution Developer & Architect. We welcome your application!

These interesting tasks and activities await you:

• 
  Take individual technical leadership on strategic portfolio items
• Scope, define and design solutions and use cases enhancing our 5G portfolio and generating new business opportunities for DGS in strategic areas
• Support Solution Lines and Customer Units in DGS engagements for prioritized customers
• Engage in customer facing discussions with deep technical knowledge of the DGS portfolio
• Collect and feedback requirements to respective Product Development Units
• Deliver early phase contributions to DGS related studies and technical fora
• Drive continuous improvements with focus on solution system management and its processes

You bring the following knowledge and experience:

• 
  An academic degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Deep and broad knowledge about the latest DGS/Core technologies, multi-CNF skilled
• Working experience with 5G and Cloud Native, but also Mobile Broad Band / 4G, Private Networks and Virtualized Network Functions Virtualization in general
• Cloud Native architectures: NFV/NFVi, VMware, RedHat and relevant SDN technologies
• Cloud Data Center HW technologies, incl Processing, Storage and Networking architectures
• A proven track record of leading cooperation and alignment cross different technical areas with the target of delivering end-to-end technical solutions
• System Product and Target Solution Pre-Sales, Development, Delivery and Life Cycle Management
• A proven track record as trusted advisor to C-level executives within both, BA and MA dimensions
